Located conveniently on the corner of South 17 and 63 Highway, we at "the big red barn" are happy to routinely serve dogs, cats, horses, sheep, and goats as well as the occasional exotic or pocket pet. Our 5000 square foot facility houses a complete equine medicine and surgery facility, with capabilities from the simplest procedures to colic surgery. A complete small animal facility also offers up to date medicine and surgery, including orthopedic surgery with all ASIF equipment. Internal medicine is supported with complete blood chemistry and diagnostics completed in-house. Radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy and, recently, laser surgery are also offered as in house services. Other services include, but are not limited to: boarding, grooming, dental cleanings, health certifications, vaccinations, de-worming and parasite control and wellness checks. Our in-house retail store is your one-stop-shop for all your nutrition and pet health maintenance needs. Dr. Eugene Ulmanis, our Clinic owner and veterinarian, has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 30 years. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Missouri Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Equine Practitioners, Society for Theriogenology and Christian Veterinary Mission.
