Dr. Ulmanis has a very versatile skill set and has, during his over 3 decades as a veterinarian, treated or performed surgical procedures on a variety of animals, including llamas, alpacas, a camel, a kangaroo, a wallaby, a spider monkey, snakes, iguanas, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, ferrets and even a baby bear... Dr. Ulmanis is both a horse owner and a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP). He has worked on both competition and pleasure horses continuously throughout his 30+ year career. All animals have different health needs as they grow into mature animals - our goal is that all animals enjoy the best health throughout their lives.
