Tammy Johnston

Registered Technician

Tammy was born in Westminster, Maryland and raised in both Maryland and Ohio. She graduated from high school in Maryland and attended Carroll Community College where she earned her AA in 1996.  She then attended Essex Community College where she earned her AAS in Veterinary Technology in 1999. She has worked in a number of veterinary clinics as a registered veterinary technician since graduation. 

Tammy moved to Alton, Missouri in November of 2006. She joined the Clinic staff in May of 2007. She has four gaited horses, eight dogs, and some chickens/ducks on her farm in Alton.  In her spare time, she loves to trail ride and canoe.  She use to raiseSiberian Huskies but now raises, breeds and shows English Labrador Retrievers.She is active in Confirmation, Rally, Obedience, and Agility. She is a Certified CGC Evaluator and is venturing into teaching basic obedience, She has started a AKC Puppy S.T.A.R. program here at the Animal Clinic.
